Backstory:
In the heart of Gearlandia’s densest forests roams the legendary Gear Deer; a generally calm, towering creature whose sprawling antlers are strung with carabiners, ropes, pulleys, and slings. Need a rigging plate? An extra pulley? A rope that is the exact length for precision rigging? The Gear Deer is happy to lend… just make sure you follow the rules.

The Gear Deer has a kind spirit and endless patience for new learners, but they have one ironclad code: Respect the gear. That means logging which rope you took, cleaning muddy hardware, and never stuffing a wet rope into a rope bag without at least trying to air dry first.  Break the code, and you’ll see a side of the Gear Deer few dare provoke: the legendary Stomp of Disappointment (which is far worse than a lecture).

It’s worth befriending the Gear Deer. Many in Gearlandia believe that those who honor the responsibilities of group caches (and maybe write their initials in the logbook with a small doodle) will always find just the gear they need, even in the wildest terrain. Those who don't? Well... they might find they have to pass an unexpected knot in their rope at the worst possible moment.

Signature Move:
The “Antler Racking System- with a single shake of his mighty antlers, the Gear Deer can perfectly sort and organize a pile of tangled equipment by type, size, and use. It's a sight so beautiful it once moved a Gearhead to tears.
