Give yourself some extra shade and block out the sun's rays with this removable helmet brim/halo. Requested by fire service and rope technicians, this helmet halo is EXTRA WIDE providing nearly 5" of extra sun protection.
Designed with an oval shape to fit over many rope rescue helmets with a circumference of 27”-29" such as the Petzl Vertex and the Kask SuperPlasma HD. Each Solar Eclipse uses 1000D Cordura to sandwich an extra firm stabilizer so the shape holds itself without sagging.
The elastic interior band slides over your helmet and remains in place when placed into the integrated helmet clips. Also integrated is a place to hold a pen or sharpie.
